Pressure to have abortion can be tremendous

I think women/young girls are the victims of abortion. The pressure to have an abortion is overwhelming .... "I'm only 16. I'm scared. My boyfriend doesn't want the baby. My counselor will provide a ride to an abortion clinic. My parents are expecting me to go to college. My mom will pay for the abortion. The baby is defective.

The pressure to have an abortion is overwhelming …. “I’m only 16. I’m scared. My boyfriend doesn’t want the baby. My counselor will provide a ride to an abortion clinic. My parents are expecting me to go to college. My mom will pay for the abortion. The baby is defective. Having a baby right now would be embarrassing…”

Abortion is a rush/pressure cooker decision to make. Who is strong enough to endure that?

Post abortive women/young girls may try to filter out the pro-life message for the rest of their life.

Pro-lifers feel a profound deep sorrow and forgiveness for choices/abortions. I support the Des Moines Pregnancy Aid program (206-878-3770.) Pregnancy Aid offers free baby supplies: diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, clothes…to any one.

Also, there is a network of transitional housing offered to pregnant young women.

For a list of transitional housing opportunities, contact Birthright at 206-957-7790.
