What will it take for the City of Kent to install traffic signal cameras at the main intersections in the city?
When stopped at a traffic light and it changes to green, we wait for the traffic to clear the intersection, since many of the drivers ignore their light when it turns red. Since there is no enforcement now, why not do as many of the cities close by have done: install cameras and solve the problem.
It isn’t just the public running red lights, we have observed city vehicles, and Metro buses run the light quite often.
