Junior H to perform at ShoWare Center in Kent Sept. 29

Mexican singer has over 21 million listeners on Spotify and more than one billion views on YouTube

Junior H, considered a leading light in contemporary regional Mexican music, will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent as part of his Sad Boyz Tour.

Junior H has over 21 million listeners on Spotify and more than one billion views on YouTube, according to a ShoWare Center email.

With songs like “Fin De Semana,” “El Hijo Mayor,” “El Azul,” “Ella” and “El Tsurito” becoming defining anthems of the corrido tumbado movement, Junior H has become an icon of the genre through his charismatic voice and trap-infused sierreño style which he has been perfecting since his arrival in 2019, according to promoters.

Ever since, he has charted 11 Billboard Hot Latin Songs hits, including eight collaborations, with such acts as Natanael Cano, Eslabon Armado, Luis R. Conriquez, and Marca Registrada, among others. He had his first Billboard Hot 100 entry with “Fin De Semana” earlier in 2023.

Junior H managed to sell out CDMX’s (Mexico City’s) 40,000 capacity Plaza De Toros De México. With undeniable appeal to the Gen Z crowd, Junior H is furthering his legend and impact on the music landscape, according to promoters.
