People flock to see the vehicles at Kent Station

People had a warm, sunny day to check out the fifth annual Cruisin’ Kent Car Show at the Kent Station shopping center.

“Beautiful day for a car show!” Kent Mayor Dana Ralph posted on Facebook about the Sunday, Aug. 26 event. “It’s so much fun seeing all the cars and all the people checking out all the great cars.”

Kent Station presented the car show in partnership with the city of Kent. The show is a fundraiser for the Green River College Veterans Educational Transition (VET) Fund. Raffle tickets were sold to help raise money.

“Love the partnership with Kent Station that makes this possible,” Ralph said.

Sponsor cars were on Ramsay Way at Kent Station. All other cars were in the lot behind MOD Pizza. The event included vendor booths, raffles, DJ and trophies for the top vehicles.
