Reporter taken to task for lingerie photos

You probably assume that when you don’t hear from your readers that you’re doing a good job. So I must share my disappointment with the decision to put the “ShoWare turns from ice to lingerie” story and picture on the front page.

Kent has a large family community and a family community that is constantly working to get kids to love reading (which should ultimately help keep you in business.)

My kids and our dog enjoy bringing in the Kent Reporter, so how incredibly sad and to have them comment on the inappropriateness of the picture on the front page of that issue. And how irritating that the kids could figure that out and you couldn’t.

Plus the article reads more like an advertisement for the league and team. There are other, much more worthwhile stories about the Kent community that could have taken the front page.

If you want us to treat your paper like a joke, keep putting articles, language and pictures like that on the front page.
