This is a rebuttal of Janice Ward’s letter to the editor on Oct. 3 (online date; print date was Oct. 4), “Letter doesn’t speak for all who have had abortions”)
She demonstrated that the abortion topic strikes a raw nerve.
The “choice”/abortion, is a choice you cannot undue. Once it is done – it’s done. It’s not like getting a short haircut. Your hair will regrow.
Once the line is crossed it’s crossed. When a woman/young girl has been pressured into the “choice”/abortion, it becomes hard to be able to look at abortion objectively.
Is there such a thing as a small pregnancy?
Janice Ward agrees there are some women who have regrets.
To reaffirm the value of the unborn does not diminish the pain of personal involvement in abortion. It’s just acknowledging the humanity of the unborn. Please log on to silent
