One of the few truthful statements Donald Trump made during the presidential campaign was, “The election is rigged.”
Boy, was he right – but not in the way he implied.
The following are some of the ways in which it was rigged:
1. The announcement by the director of the FBI, just days before the election, that additional emails had been found.
2. The voter suppression laws on the books in a number of states whose main purpose was to decrease the number of Democratic votes.
3. Cyberhacking by Trump’s friend in the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin.
One of Trump’s false statements was that he would “drain the swamp.” So what is he doing? Instead of draining the swamp, he’s adding alligators to it – all this by a man who garnered 2.7 million fewer votes than Hillary Clinton.
