I urge you to consider the qualifications of Dana Ralph when casting your vote for the mayor of Kent.
She was born and raised in Kent with a fourth-generation heritage. It is here she and her husband raised their family. She has been a small business owner in Kent for the past 20 years. Before she was elected to the City Council in 2011 she volunteered on the Kent Land Use and Planning Board dealing with economic development, natural resources and future planning. She also served as chair of the volunteer City Arts Commission.
In her six-year service on the elected council she has represented Kent’s interest on nine different regional planning groups, in addition to numerous regular council work committees. She has served a term as council president. You have seen her at many, many community activities, supporting efforts of others to enhance our city.
Dana has the support of many Kent residents and local groups. Her signs tell that she has the endorsement of Kent firefighters, police and Kent district teachers. She is a consensus builder and a team player. She knows how bring people together and collaborate to get things done.
Dana knows well our rich Kent past. She is aware of the many challenges the city currently faces. She is committed to working together to build a vibrant and challenging future for all our Kent residents. She deserves your vote for Kent mayor.
