Puppy article draws reader comment

I wanted to comment on the article titled “This little puppy has a big job ahead of him,” found in the April 4 issue of the Kent Reporter.

I’ve been blind for some time now. I’d love to have a guide dog, but for certain reasons, haven’t been able to get one.

I support the extremely important work puppy raisers and guide dogs do. Guide dogs are amazing and wonderful, as are their masters. Kelli Reiter is doing a fantastic job. It’s hard work raising a puppy who many be (not every puppy is future guide-dog material) doing future guide-dog work.

I sure would love to meet Kelli Reiter some time, so I can tell her in person the wonderful job she’s doing. And to you, beautiful Lipton, best wishes and many blessings with your future guide-dog work!
