I am writing a followup to my letter published Feb. 3 (“Ashamed to be an American”).
What a difference two weeks can make. Three superheroes from our state took a stand to protect immigrants. They did this without capes or masks, but with integrity, intelligence and idealism.
I am so proud of Attorney General Bob Ferguson, Gov. Jay Inslee and Judge James Robart.
While I remain ashamed for the words, attitudes and actions of our leaders in the other Washington, I can honestly say today that I am very proud to be a Washingtonian.
