Inslee: tend to ‘our Washington’

Washington is last in earthquake preparedness. It is near the top in auto theft and residential burglary. There is no prosecution of identity theft or shoplifting.

Washington is second in porch pirate package thefts behind San Francisco and third in homelessness behind New York and Los Angeles. It is a sanctuary for drug abuse, providing needles to protect addicts but transferring the risk of blood-borne disease to children and others who may come in contact with their litter. Western State Hospital averages about five assaults per day and has been cited by federal inspectors.

Meanwhile, our governor is gallivanting around country campaigning for president. I do not believe the rest of the USA really wants to put up with this level of performance. Adding insult to injury, education funding, bridges, roads, congestion, Orca and salmon recovery are unfunded while he breaks the State Patrol’s security budget with his travels.

Enough is enough.

Stay home and tend to business, Gov. Inslee. If you are worthy of the presidency, it will become obvious. The Secret Service provides security for viable presidential candidates. Your campaign should not be a drain on Washington’s taxpayers.
