What are the Federalist Papers and how do they relate to the Constitution of the United States of America and the Declaration of Independence?
These are letters written by a few of the “brain childs” of the Constitution and circulated to the public so they would have a contextual idea as to why the Constitution was written the way it was.
As I put myself in the frame of mind of our Founding Fathers, I begin reflecting on what has happened over the years due to our passive involvement in policy making and I now see why almost all 50 states are reaffirming their state sovereignty to Congress and Mr. Obama.
Our health, if we want to avoid a fine, is soon to be controlled by the national government, the National Guard of the United States has morphed into an entity now controlled by our central government, free speech is being squashed as seen by the designation of “free speech zones” throughout the country (try free speech at the edge of the Pike Place Market for example), teachers at the public schools have their hands tied behind their back with federal mandates on curriculum to be taught and with the Second Amendment being ignored, I can understand why Montana just passed the Firearms Freedom Act.
The list of infringements against the states by the federal government goes on and on. This is the wake-up call to do some investigating for yourself.
Contact your district representatives who are supposed to uphold their oath of office, and to make sure “We The People” of Washington state are protected as seen in the state sovereignty legislation named HJM 4009 (House Joint Memorial 4009) here in Washington. This is just one way to take a stand!
