Circus takes good care of its animals

Once again, the animal rights extremists with PETA are attempting to distort Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's record on animal care.

Once again, the animal rights extremists with PETA are attempting to distort Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s record on animal care.

Despite PETA’s claims, Ringling Bros. has never been found in violation of the federal Animal Welfare Act. The former employee they site in a recent letter was a witness in a lawsuit animal rights groups brought against the circus – a lawsuit they lost so badly they agreed to pay us over $25 million to settle it. That witness, in particular, was found by the court to have no credibility and was actually paid by animal rights groups and their lawyers for his testimony.

Everyone one with Ringling Bros. is very proud of our animal care, and the health and well-being of all our animals can be seen at every show in every city we visit.

Rather than take what groups like PETA say at face value, Kent area families can come and see for themselves how all the animals with Ringling Bros. are thriving in our care.
