Robert (Bob) L. Taiclet
Robert (Bob) L. Taiclet, age 76, formerly of Kent, WA, passed away on November 25, 2009 in Puyallup, WA. He was born to Grace N. (Speers) Taiclet and Jesse Taiclet in Neosho, MO in 1933.He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father Robert C. Meador, his wives, Delia J. (Roberts) Taiclet and Barbara (Sawtells) Wren, and his brother Donald C. Meador.Survivors include his sister, Roberta (Meador) Dunston, his aunt, Beverly Baker, daughters, Cynthia Taiclet, Laura Renee Nelson, and Bonita Reyes, his sons, Robert L. Taiclet, Jr., William L. Taiclet, his son-in-laws, Larry Nelson and Jamie Hogan, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.He served his country in the US Army during the Korean war and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He retired from Smith Brothers Dairy after more than 30 years as a mechanic. He loved his family, the great outdoors, country music, and watching sports on television. He will be missed by all that knew him.A private family memorial will be held in January.
