An 18-year-old Kent man faces charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree attempted burglary and unlawful imprisonment for his alleged role in two home invasion incidents.

Alhusaine Drammeh made his first court appearance Friday, Oct. 27 where a judge set bail at $1 million, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Drammeh remains in custody at the King County Correctional Facility in Seattle. Prosectors filed charged Oct. 30 against Drammeh.

Drammeh is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13 in Courtroom GA of the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent.

King County prosecutors argued that Drammeh is a danger to the community and should be held on high bail, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

“The defendant and several co-defendants (who have not been arrested) stormed into an occupied residence with firearms,” wrote Senior Deputy Prosecting Attorney Stephen Herschkowitz in charging documents. “In these violent home invasion robberies, the defendants made the residents of the homes lay on the ground while holding firearms aimed at the prostrate victims.

“The armed intruders even held a 5-year-old boy at gunpoint while they robbed the victims of their personal belongings. At one point, the defendant and his accomplices warned the victim to ‘tell the baby not to cry’ as they robbed the residence.”

Kent Police arrested Drammeh on Oct. 26 at his residence at the Riverwood Apartments, 24620 Russell Road, in Kent, according to the probable cause documents.

According to court documents, on Oct. 15 Drammeh reportedly followed a couple from the Riverside Casino in Tukwila shortly after midnight to their Kent home in the 23800 block of 135th Place SE. He parked his vehicle in the street and followed them to their front door.

The couple managed to get inside and shut the door. Drammeh reportedly displayed a gun and pointed it at a window next to the door. A Ring surveillance camera captured the incident.

When Drammeh saw the Ring camera, he reportedly used his gun to destroy the camera before leaving.

Second home invasion

Kent Police also responded to a Oct. 16 home invasion in the 12300 block of SE 204th Street.

In this incident, four to five males, wearing masks, reportedly entered the home armed with guns and stole items before fleeing in a vehicle.

A resident of the home went outside to smoke and when he turned to walk back inside, two males ran at him and pushed him into the house when four or five males then entered the home.

The men had the resident lead them through the home looking for other people. Once they got to the room of the man’s mother, he tried to wrestle a gun from one of the man’s hands but was struck in the temple with the gun, according to court documents.

The men then led the man and his mother downstairs where renters lived. The men gathered two adult renters and their 5-year-old boy and made everyone lay on the floor face down. They wanted to know where the jewelry and money were at the house.

One of the masked men put a gun to the back of one of the renter’s heads and ripped a gold chain from his neck, according to court documents.

Witnesses said the men were in the home for about an hour. They left with two gold chains, a Calvin Klein black purse and cash.

Detectives used the Ring camera video and the recovery of a Toyota reportedly stolen by Drammeh to identify him. Drammeh’s cellphone was reportedly synced to the Toyota, which he had parked at the casino prior to following the Kent couple. Cellphone data from his phone reportedly put him in the area of both incidents.

In the Toyota, detectives found a Glock 9mm loaded magazine. At Drammeh’s apartment, police reportedly found four handguns.

Detectives interviewed Drammeh and showed him video from the first incident. He reportedly said the guns were his but had nothing to say about the incident. The clothing worn by Drammeh in the video reportedly matched clothing found in his apartment, including orange and red gloves.
