Votes have been counted for the candidates running for two separate positions for Washington’s Legislative District 11 which represents voters in areas of Kent, Renton, Tukwila and Seattle.
The votes will continue to be counted until the Primary Election is certified on Aug. 16. The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 8.

26,780 ballots counted of 89,069 registered voters.

69.30 % – 17,730 votes – David Hackney (Prefers Democratic Party) – Incumbent
30.50 % – 7,804 votes – Stephanie Peters (Prefers Republican Party)
Legislative District 11 – State Representative Pos. 2
68.29 % – 17,583 votes – Steve Bergquist (Prefers Democratic Party) – Incumbent
31.53 % – 8,118 votes – Jeanette Burrage (Prefers Republican Party)
