Smith St. And along with the regular refreshments and vintage music, the museum is unveiling a new DVD: &#8220;Kent Parades of the 1940s.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Compiled from original 8 mm movie footage and arranged with music, the DVD provides a tantalizing glimpse into the post-war days of the growing community.<\/p>\n<p>You can see everything from youngsters pushing strollers to the newly minted veterans of World War II marching through the streets of Kent. There&#8217;s even a segment with a performing horse, and plenty of period fashions to observe.<\/p>\n<p>With the holidays in mind, the museum also is selling copies of the DVD for $15 a piece.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the DVD, or to place an order for one, call the museum at 253-854-4330.
