When John McCain or Barack Obama wins the presidential election come November, one is going to inherit a nation full of angry, tired and fed up people.<\/p>\n
The nation is growing weary over both parties, who act like children who broke a lamp and blaming the other when asked who did it. The Republicans blame the Democrats for controlling Congress, while the Democrats blame the Republicans for allowing George W. Bush to spend our tax dollars so rich white guys can become even richer.<\/p>\n
Now our financial institutions are being bailed out of their mess they created. They made loans to people and companies who were in no position to pay them back and now the people have to bail them out by taking our tax dollars to pay for their greed and incompetence.<\/p>\n
Even organized crime is run better than our banking system.<\/p>\n
We need to stop pointing fingers at who is to blame for this and get real solutions fast or we are going to see more civil unrest, more crime and more hate. McCain and Obama need to bring people together instead of separating the masses into the haves and the have nots.<\/p>\n
We need to take the special-interest groups like the NRA, big tobacco, the ACLU and Fox News out behind the woodshed and beat them over the head with a shovel until they go away. Or until they understand that they have taken the words of a 200-year-old document far too literally. It\u2019s far too easy to get a gun in this country, the tobacco lobby needs to quit feeding on the taxpayers’ teat, serious criminals shouldn\u2019t have more rights than their victims, and Fox News needs to remember that freedom of the press doesn\u2019t mean you are a lackey for the Republican party.<\/p>\n
If our leaders continue down this path of self-certainty, this country will soon be picked apart, like a clearance rack at Wal-Mart. And soon it will be the only place I can afford to shop.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
