Debbie Haggin, owner of Marie Haggin Accessories, has scheduled a grand opening in June for her new Kent Station store. Marie Haggin Accessories will have an open house from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The store will offer refreshments, free gifts, raffle prizes and a new array of merchandise that includes handmade jewelry, scarves, handbags, home d\u00e9cor, homemade soaps, gift items, accessories and more.<\/p>\n
Originally located on First Avenue in downtown Kent, Haggin opted to move her store to Kent Station as a way to bring her products to a growing audience.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love the historic district and will really miss the other shops there,\u201d Haggin said, \u201cBut I\u2019m excited about the opportunity to reach out to a new group of shoppers at Kent Station.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is a big change for me, but I\u2019ve gotten nothing but support from my friends, family and customers,\u201d she added. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to show off the new store!\u201d<\/p>\n
In addition to the June 7 and 8 open house, Marie Haggin Accessories will celebrate its opening throughout the month of June with special drawings, giveaways, raffle prizes and more. A complete calendar of events will be posted on the store\u2019s Web site soon.<\/p>\n
