{"id":69226,"date":"2024-04-26T10:42:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-26T17:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/medical-examiner-identifies-man-found-dead-in-kent-near-railroad-tracks\/"},"modified":"2024-04-26T10:42:00","modified_gmt":"2024-04-26T17:42:00","slug":"medical-examiner-identifies-man-found-dead-in-kent-near-railroad-tracks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/medical-examiner-identifies-man-found-dead-in-kent-near-railroad-tracks\/","title":{"rendered":"Medical examiner identifies man found dead in Kent near railroad tracks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The man found dead near the BNSF railroad tracks April 21 in Kent has been identified as 26-year-old Winton Agmous-Emmios.<\/p>\n<p>Agmous-Emmios died from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the King County Medical Examiner&rsquo;s Office, which listed accident as the manner of death.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The sequence of events and circumstances that led up to the male&rsquo;s death has not fully been determined,&rdquo; Kent Police Assistant Chief Jarod Kasner said in an April 26 email. &ldquo;However, it is believed he was struck by a train causing his death.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Officers were dispatched at about 2:40 p.m. April 21 <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/ooFT3wjVn37CeQS89\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">to the area of 1001 First Ave. N.<\/a>, for a report of a man found near the tracks who appeared to be deceased, according to police.
