{"id":68307,"date":"2024-02-27T15:30:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-27T23:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/home2\/two-people-shot-injured-at-renton-encampment\/"},"modified":"2024-02-27T15:30:00","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T23:30:00","slug":"two-people-shot-injured-at-renton-encampment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/northwest\/two-people-shot-injured-at-renton-encampment\/","title":{"rendered":"Two people shot, injured at Renton encampment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Renton Police have arrested a 31-year-old man for an early morning shooting that injured two people on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at an encampment in Renton.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. in an encampment near the Cedar River Dog Park, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>A 30-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the upper torso, and a 20-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the arm, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>First responders transported the 30-year-old victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and the 20-year-old victim to Valley Medical Center in Renton, according to an email from Renton Police spokesperson Meeghan Black.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators initiated an active search for the suspect after one of the victims reportedly identified the suspect.
