Kent’s annual Winterfest will run from 2 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Town Square Plaza, Second Avenue and Smith Street.<\/p>\n
The free event features a parade through downtown at 4:30 p.m. and the tree lighting at 5:30 p.m. Other activities include musical performances by local students, food trucks, community booths and local crafts people. Santa will be present, too.<\/p>\n
The event is sponsored by the city of Kent, the Kent Lions Club, Kent Station and Kent Downtown Partnership<\/p>\n
