Rolita Flores Ezeonu, vice president of instruction at Green River College, is a finalist for two president jobs at Pierce College.<\/p>\n

Ezeonu is one of five finalists as Pierce College looks to hire presidents for its Fort Steilacoom and Puyallup campuses.<\/p>\n

Ezeonu has worked at Auburn-based Green River College since 2018. Green River College has branch campuses in Kent and Enumclaw.<\/p>\n

The other finalists are Matthew Campbell, interim president at Pierce College Puyallup; Alfred McQuarters, vice president of instruction at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon; Maria del Rosario “Chio” Flores, vice president of student services and enrollment management at Wenatchee Valley College; and Marshall T. Fullbright III, vice president of academic affairs at Grossmont College in El Cajon, California.<\/p>\n

Pierce College has interviews planned between March 9-23. Ezeonu is scheduled for an interview on March 13-14.<\/p>\n

Ezeonu was a finalist in 2022 for the president’s job at Renton Technical College. The school hired Yoshiko Harden, who was the interim president\/CEO at Seattle Central College.<\/p>\n

Prior to moving to Green River College, Ezeonu was interim vice president of academic affairs from 2017 to 2018 at Highline College in Des Moines. She was the Highline dean of instruction for transfer and pre-college education from 2008 to 2017. She taught communication studies at Highline from 1998 to 2006.<\/p>\n

Ezeonu earned her a degree in educational leadership with an emphasis in the community college from Seattle University; a master of arts degree in communication from Washington State University; and a bachelor of arts degree in communication\/public relations from Washington State University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
