Like it or not, everyone needs a lawyer at least once in their life. But even though we all rely on attorneys for services like estate planning, probate, personal injury, real estate purchases and marriages, most of us don’t understand much about the law.

“Before I started working in the legal field, I was very intimidated by attorneys,” says Peter Bomann, a paralegal at Iddins Law Group in Kent. “The law is often seen as murky, complicated and confusing. On top of that, people often aren’t having a good time when they come to us. But our goal is to give our clients some peace of mind, and help them through difficult times.”

Since the firm was founded by David Gagley in 1982, staff have been committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere where clients feel supported without feeling intimidated. And now, iddinslaw.com reflects that expertise, compassion and transparency too.

“It’s been a long time coming!” says Bomann, who helped coordinate the website update alongside his paralegal duties. “The new website gives our clients more information about our team, a better understanding of what they can expect throughout the legal process and how long it might take.”

The blog offers clients education on various areas of law, from advice on choosing a guardian for your children to how to proceed after a car accident.

“We want to make sure that even before clients hire us — and even if they decide not to hire us — we’ve given them some information to help them along their way,” Bomann says.

A large ‘small firm’

The website refresh also includes an updated About Us page that Bomann says better reflects the depth and breadth of support that Iddins Law Group offers their clients.

“We’re a fairly large ‘small firm’ and we plan to keep growing. Our clients appreciate knowing that there’s a team working on their case — it takes a village, with more layers of accountability and more layers of support. At the same time, clients can expect a warm touch — we care about them and their case.”

Clarity and transparency are also important, which is why Iddins Law Group made their flat-rate and hourly fees easy-to-find on the new website. In the coming months, they plan to add more pages to ease the onboarding process, so clients have as much information and support as possible, all in one place.

“Even in the field of law, it’s important to keep up with the fast-paced digital marketplace, for the benefit of us and our clients.”
