Passed away December 18th 2022. He was 95 years old and lived a full and wonderful life. He lived in Kent 92 years. He grew up on west meeker where the new Kent elementary now sits. He was a long time member of the First Christian church of Kent. Served 2 years in the Navy during WWII.<\/p>\n

After the service he was married to his high school sweetheart Donna (Boyker) for 67 years. Roy was a milkman for 43 years at Smith Bros. Dairy before retiring. Aftfter retirement Roy and Donna belonged to a trailer group called the 45ers. Former Kent High school alumni who would get together 6 to 8 times a year and travel to difffferent destinations in the Pacifific Northwest. He leaves a large void within our family dynamics. Roy is survived by his son Tom (Dianne), daughter Diane (Bryan), 4 grandkids, 6 great and 2 great-great grandkids. He loved his family very much and We will all miss him greatly. Service to be held at First Christian Church 11717 SE 240th St. on the February 21st at 1:00.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
