A sampling of Kent Police incidents Oct. 24 to Nov. 5:<\/p>\n
Oct. 24<\/strong><\/p>\n Carjacking<\/strong>: 12:50 p.m., officers responded to a carjacking at Planet Fitness, 24044 104th Ave. SE. The victim arrived at the business and was talking on her cellphone remaining in her vehicle. The unknown suspect opened her car door, stuck a gun in her chest and forcibly removed her from the vehicle. The suspect then fled in the victim’s vehicle. At 2:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 21100 block of 127th Place SE to recover the victim’s vehicle which was left unoccupied in the middle of the roadway.<\/p>\n Oct. 29<\/strong><\/p>\n Stabbing<\/strong>: 6:56 p.m., officers were dispatched to a stabbing at Foster Park, 7499 S. 259th St. The victim had lacerations to the chin and left arm. The victim stated she knew the suspect and they had got into a dispute which prompted the assault. The suspect fled the area prior to the officers’ arrival. The victim was taken to the hospital for further medical treatment.<\/p>\n Oct. 31<\/strong><\/p>\n Attempted bank robbery<\/strong>: 1:17 p.m., officers responded to the Wells Fargo bank, 10625 SE Kent Kangley Road, for a hold-up alarm\/armed robbery. Two males walked in and gave the teller a note demanding money, or they would shoot everyone in the bank. The teller stepped back, behind the bulletproof glass, causing the suspects to flee out the front door. No money was obtained by the suspects. Later the same suspects drove to the Columbia Bank, 2041 Auburn Way in Auburn, and successfully robbed that bank of $3,800. A K-9 track was done but the suspects were able to flee the area.<\/p>\n Car shooting<\/strong>: 9:08 p.m., Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority responded to an aid call for a subject in a car with broken out windows complaining of being unable to move his legs. They discovered three gunshot wounds to his back. Medics responded and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for further treatment. The victim said he was sleeping in his car and woke up to the sound of the window breaking. Multiple .22 caliber casings were located around the vehicle, which was later impounded for evidence. The victim is stable and awaiting further treatment.<\/p>\n Nov. 1<\/strong><\/p>\n Vehicle shootout<\/strong>: 5:41 p.m., officers responded to a shooting near SE 240th Street\/108th Avenue SE. The occupants of two vehicles were shooting at each other as they were driving east on SE 240th St. The shooting continued until they reached 116th Avenue SE\/SE 240th St. Officers shut down SE 240th St. from 108th to 116th to search for evidence of the shooting. 12 casings were located near the entrance of Phoenix Court Apartments, 23913 111th Pl. SE, and another six casings and bullet fragments were found at the intersection of 116th Avenue SE\/SE 240th St. No victims or involved parties came forward to report the incident. One vehicle was located with bullet holes in it. There were no occupants of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken as evidence.<\/p>\n 7-Eleven robbery<\/strong>: 8:18 p.m., officers were dispatched to a robbery that occurred at the 7-Eleven, 20727 108th Ave. SE. The suspect had been hanging out in front of the store until all customers had left. The suspect then approached the clerk with a firearm and took around $300 in cash fled in a vehicle westbound and was not located.<\/p>\n Nov. 2<\/strong><\/p>\n Home invasion<\/strong>: 6:01 a.m., officers were dispatched to threats with a weapon in the 500 block of Bridges Avenue S. The victim was in bed when he heard someone trying to enter his home. When the victim confronted the two suspects standing outside of his door, one of the suspects pointed a firearm at him and demanded his belongings. The victim tried to shut his door, but the suspects began to push it open. Once the victim got the door shut, he called 911. While investigating this incident, officers were approached by residents\/visitors of a house in the 500 block of Railroad Avenue. They reported that three suspects entered their home armed with guns and robbed them of their belongings. The suspects in both incidents appeared to be the same people.<\/p>\n Nov. 4<\/strong><\/p>\n Chevron robbery<\/strong>: 1:21 a.m., officers were dispatched to a robbery at the Chevron, 8315 S. 212th St. The suspect entered the gas station and began purchasing a Sprite. Once the clerk opened the register, the suspect pulled out a firearm and robbed the clerk of all the money in the register ($2,400) and numerous cartons of cigarettes.<\/p>\n Nov. 5<\/strong><\/p>\n Carjacking<\/strong>: 8:41 a.m., officers were dispatched to a carjacking at the Phoenix Court Apartments, 23913 111th Pl. SE. The victim stated he came to the apartment complex to visit a friend and parked his vehicle. He was approached by two suspects who got out of another vehicle. One of the suspects pointed a firearm at him demanding his vehicle. The suspects got into the vehicle and drove out of the complex followed by the vehicle the suspects originally got out of.<\/p>\n Carjacking<\/strong>: 11:17 p.m., officers were dispatched to a carjacking within the Indigo Springs Apartment complex, 11101 SE 208th St. The victim stated she had just parked her vehicle and was walking to her apartment when the suspect ran up to her holding a knife. The suspect took her laptop bag and keys as the victim began to run away. When she went back to the location of her vehicle, it was missing.
