Maclam, 60, was driving north on the highway near the intersection of Highway 18 around 6 a.m. when he drifted onto the right shoulder. In attempting to reenter the roadway, he overcorrected and struck another driver.<\/p>\n<p>Maclam&rsquo;s vehicle then spun around, struck the right-side barrier, and vaulted over the side, coming to rest on its top onto the eastbound onramp from Highway 18 to SR 167.<\/p>\n<p>Maclam was ejected and was declared dead on arrival by first responders. It does not appear he was wearing his seatbelt.<\/p>\n<p>The other vehicle sustained little damage, and the driver was uninjured.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the collision is under investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>James W.
