{"id":60344,"date":"2022-09-22T11:05:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-22T18:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-panther-lake-library-reopening-date-remains-unknown\/"},"modified":"2022-09-22T11:05:00","modified_gmt":"2022-09-22T18:05:00","slug":"kent-panther-lake-library-reopening-date-remains-unknown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-panther-lake-library-reopening-date-remains-unknown\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent Panther Lake Library reopening date remains unknown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A reopening date for the Kent Panther Lake Library remains unknown nearly five months after a vehicle crashed into the building.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The reopening date is still unknown,&rdquo; said Sarah Thomas, public relations specialist for the King County Library System, in a Sept. 21 email.<\/p>\n<p>The impact of the vehicle against the building in the May 7 crash damaged the exterior wall and metal siding, emergency exit door, window next to the exit door and some of the roof trusses, Thomas said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The cost is still unknown,&rdquo; Thomas said about an estimate for the repairs.<\/p>\n<p>King County Library System leases the building.
