{"id":60120,"date":"2022-09-09T12:34:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-09T19:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/firefighters-extinguish-house-fire-in-kent-on-east-hill\/"},"modified":"2022-09-09T12:41:14","modified_gmt":"2022-09-09T19:41:14","slug":"firefighters-extinguish-house-fire-in-kent-on-east-hill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/firefighters-extinguish-house-fire-in-kent-on-east-hill\/","title":{"rendered":"Firefighters extinguish house fire in Kent on East Hill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It took firefighters about 30 minutes to extinguish a house fire Friday morning, Sept. 9 <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/5ksQMkvm8bbsn2mh6\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">in the 27200 block of 156th Avenue SE in <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/5ksQMkvm8bbsn2mh6\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">Kent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters responded at about 8:52 a.m. to a fire at a small, wood-framed house, according to Puget Sound Fire spokesperson Pat Pawlak. One person was displaced. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire was accidental.<\/p>\n<p>Eight fire department units and 19 personnel responded to the fire, Pawlak said.
