He holds 45.60% of the votes (13,642 votes) in results released Aug. 8 by King County Elections. He had 44.56% of the vote after election night results.<\/p>\n<p>Kauffman has 27.22% (8,144 votes) and Kaur 27.02% (8,083 votes).<\/p>\n<p>King County Elections will release more results all week before certifying the election on Aug. 16.<\/p>\n<p>Kauffman, of Kent, held the 47th District Senate seat from 2007 to 2010 before losing to Joe Fain, R-Auburn.
