Votes have been counted for the candidates running for two separate positions for Washington’s Legislative District 11 which represents voters in areas of Kent, Renton, Tukwila and Seattle.<\/p>\n

The votes will continue to be counted until the Primary Election is certified on Aug. 16. The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 8.<\/p>\n

The following vote counts were last updated on Aug. 8 at 3:22 pm.<\/em><\/p>\n

26,780 ballots counted of 89,069 registered voters.<\/em><\/p>\n

Legislative District 11 – State Representative Pos. 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

69.30<\/strong> % – 17,730 votes – David Hackney (Prefers Democratic Party) – Incumbent<\/p>\n

30.50<\/strong> % – 7,804 votes – Stephanie Peters (Prefers Republican Party)<\/p>\n

Legislative District 11 –<\/strong> State Representative Pos. 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

68.29<\/strong> % – 17,583 votes – Steve Bergquist (Prefers Democratic Party) – Incumbent<\/p>\n
