{"id":58186,"date":"2022-06-15T11:19:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-15T18:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/lynnwood-man-fatally-shot-on-kents-east-hill\/"},"modified":"2022-06-15T11:19:00","modified_gmt":"2022-06-15T18:19:00","slug":"lynnwood-man-fatally-shot-on-kents-east-hill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/lynnwood-man-fatally-shot-on-kents-east-hill\/","title":{"rendered":"Lynnwood man fatally shot on Kent&#8217;s East Hill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 32-year-old Lynnwood man was fatally shot early Wednesday morning, June 15 on the East Hill in Kent <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/8GGhpH2Mf1HXLNaG7\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"map\" rel=\"noopener\">near the 12900 block of Southeast 275th Street<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded to reports of a shooting and found a man on the ground and unresponsive with a significant wound on his chest, according to Kent Police. Officers began life-saving efforts, which were continued by medics, but the man died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Police do not believe that it was a random incident. Police have not made an arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives continue to interview witnesses, collect evidence and investigate the circumstances that led up to the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information about the incident can reach the Kent Police tip line at 253-856-5808 or call 911 to speak to an officer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fourth homicide this year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the fourth homicide in 2022 in Kent.<\/p>\n<p>A 44-year-old Kent man was found fatally shot inside a vehicle Jan. 27 in the area of Green River Road and South 277th Street. A 25-year-old man was fatally shot April 7 in the area of the Hillcrest Cemetery, 1005 Reiten Road.
