They have made eight trips to state, the most recent in 2018 when they didn&rsquo;t place.<\/p>\n<p>Kentwood opens against 16th-seeded Hanford at noon Friday, May 27. The other top seeds include No. 2 Jackson, No. 3 Skyview, No. 4 Puyallup and No. 5 Skyline.<\/p>\n<p>Kentwood won the NPSL title and the district tournament. The Conquerors have outscored their opponents 175-22.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore pitcher Sarah Wright leads Kentwood with a .500 batting average and an ERA of 0.30, according to MaxPreps.com. She also has 26 RBIs, 24 runs and six home runs.<\/p>\n<p>Senior outfielder Lauren Rivera is batting .485 with 26 runs. Junior third baseman Sarah Rothenberger is batting .444 with 27 RBIs, 25 runs and six home runs.<\/p>\n<p>Wright had a huge game as Kentwood beat Skyview 6-0 in the Class 4A West Central\/Southwest bi-district championship game.
