Kent Police arrested a 59-year-old man for allegedly killing his 60-year-old male roommate.<\/p>\n
Officers responded at about 11:45 p.m. Thursday, May 12 to a fight between two roommates in the area of 27600 123rd Avenue <\/a>SE<\/a>, according to Kent Police.<\/p>\n Dispatch advised officers that one of the men was unconscious and CPR was started. Officers arrived and found a man attempting to give CPR to the victim. Officers took over life-saving efforts until Puget Sound Fire medics arrived. The man died at the scene from his injuries.<\/p>\n Officers detained the 59-year-old man at the location and took him into custody. Detectives interviewed the man and arrested him for investigation of second-degree murder, according to police.<\/p>\n Detectives continue to investigate to determine what led up to the altercation.<\/p>\n The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will later release the man’s identity and the cause and manner of death.<\/p>\n Third homicide this year<\/strong><\/p>\n This is the third homicide in 2022 in Kent.<\/p>\n A 44-year-old Kent man was found fatally shot inside a vehicle Jan. 27 in the area of Green River Road and South 277th Street.
