The Kent Police Neighborhood Response Team invites Kent business owners, managers and employees to attend a Business Crime Prevention Summit from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24 at accesso ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St.<\/p>\n

Attendees will hear valuable information on effective police partnerships, crime trends, prevention and much more, according to a police statement.<\/p>\n

The topics include:<\/p>\n

• Building an effective partnership<\/p>\n

• 2021 criminal law update<\/p>\n

• Current public safety landscape<\/p>\n

• Drug issues<\/p>\n

• Homelessness<\/p>\n

• Gangs and graffiti<\/p>\n

• Reporting criminal activity<\/p>\n

• Q&A roundtable<\/p>\n
