On Sunday, October 24, 2021, Ruth Theodora Johnson, née Schleer, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at age 94. Ruth was born on February 7, 1927, on a farm in Fruitland, Washington, to William and Helga (Madson) Schleer. On July 11, 1949, in Spokane, Washington, she married Carl Kenneth “Ken” Johnson, whom she always called “Kenny”. They raised two children: a son, Gene, and a daughter, Karen. The family moved to Seattle in 1965.<\/p>\n

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother Louis, and her sisters Anita and Alyda. She is survived by her two children, Gene and Karen, her grandsons, Kyle and Eric, her great-granddaughter Zaara, her brothers, Carl and Jorgan, and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
