Michael Alan Griffin was<\/p>\n
born at 12:43am, November<\/p>\n
9, 1958 to Ben Griffin Sr. and<\/p>\n
Eileen Griffin (Jaderlund) in<\/p>\n
Seattle Washington. He attended<\/p>\n
Kent Meridian High School then<\/p>\n
enlisted in the army in 1976. While<\/p>\n
in basic training, a major back<\/p>\n
injury cut his military service short.<\/p>\n
He decided to return to school and<\/p>\n
earned his G.E.D from Green River Community College in<\/p>\n
1978. Three years later, he married Sandy Olson and they<\/p>\n
welcomed a daughter, Marissa.<\/p>\n
Mike was a loving son, brother, uncle and father. Always<\/p>\n
one to make you laugh, he danced to Steve Martin’s ‘King<\/p>\n
Tut’ hysterically, that special way he’d say ‘Pizza Sauce’ and<\/p>\n
tears of laughter would ensue. Family get togethers were<\/p>\n
important – especially the Ellensburg Rodeo. He also loved<\/p>\n
tinkering with anything on wheels.<\/p>\n
He passed peacefully at 12:30 am on August 17, 2020 after<\/p>\n
complications from multiple health issues. He is survived<\/p>\n
by his father Ben Sr., of Fall City, brother Ben Jr., (Linda)<\/p>\n
of Puyallup, sister Amy Pearson of Puyallup, sister Marcie<\/p>\n
of Auburn, daughter Marissa of Des Moines, and former<\/p>\n
spouse Sandy (Olson) Griffin of Des Moines, among<\/p>\n
several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is<\/p>\n
preceded in death by his mother Eileen (Griffin) Rinehart.<\/p>\n
