After a nearly four-year battle<\/p>\n
with cancer, Dale Klapperich<\/p>\n
passed away peacefully at age<\/p>\n
67 at his home in Auburn with<\/p>\n
family by his side.<\/p>\n
Dale was born in Aberdeen<\/p>\n
SD and grew up in Kent WA.<\/p>\n
He attended Kentridge HS and<\/p>\n
Green River College. He served<\/p>\n
three years in US Army. He<\/p>\n
spent his career in construction<\/p>\n
equipment sales and retired<\/p>\n
from regional sales after 25 years<\/p>\n
with Stanley Hydraulic Tools.<\/p>\n
Dale’s quick wit and sense of<\/p>\n
humor brought happiness to many people.<\/p>\n
He possessed a special quality which made<\/p>\n
every customer, friend and family member<\/p>\n
know how very special they were to him.<\/p>\n
He lived his life fully, enjoying gardening,<\/p>\n
handyman work, traveling, camping, music<\/p>\n
and spending time with his beloved family.<\/p>\n
Dale was preceded in death by parents<\/p>\n
Laurence and Neva, siblings Joyce, Mary,<\/p>\n
Larry and Vicki. He is survived by his wife<\/p>\n
Debby, son Joshua, daughter in<\/p>\n
law Jessica, granddaughter Sadie<\/p>\n
and siblings Dolores, Joan, Ron,<\/p>\n
Denise, Lowell and Keith, and<\/p>\n
many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Dale was a fighter and he faced<\/p>\n
his illness with strength, courage<\/p>\n
and grace to the very end.<\/p>\n
A graveside service will be held<\/p>\n
for attendance by immediately<\/p>\n
family at Hillcrest Burial Park<\/p>\n
in Kent. A larger celebration of<\/p>\n
Dale’s life will be planned when<\/p>\n
the State’s Covid Guidelines<\/p>\n
allow for large gatherings. In lieu<\/p>\n
of flowers, donations may be made to the<\/p>\n
following funds. Please note that your gift is<\/p>\n
in memory of Dale Klapperich.<\/p>\n
