Gloria Cavanaugh<\/p>\n

April 4, 1927 to April 26, 2020. Age 93<\/p>\n

Gloria Cavanaugh went to be with our Dad in God’s paradise on Sunday morning, April 26, 2020. Gloria was born in Cleveland Ohio to parents Minnie Sahley and Charles Sahley. Gloria had 3 sisters Tillie Robinson, Deebe Anderson, and Billie Sahley.<\/p>\n

Her family came from Zahley, Lebanon. In her family she was of the second generation to be born in America.<\/p>\n

Gloria’s family started out in Ohio but later moved to southern Texas near McAllen. After high school the family moved again to Auburn Washington where she later met Floyd Cavanaugh at the Peoples Bank they had both worked.<\/p>\n

Gloria and Floyd were married on May 3 1947 and together forover66yearsuntilFloydpassedin2013. GloriaandFloyd raised two children Wayne and Cheryl. Wayne and his wife Cathy live in Kent Washington and Cheryl and her husband Da- vid Gomez live in Nordland Washington near Port Townsend.<\/p>\n

Mom will be laid to rest with Dad’s urn on Friday May 15,2020 at the Hillside Cemetery on Scenic Hill in Kent with asmallfamilygravesideservice. Alargermemorialservice will be scheduled at the Kent United Methodist Church when restrictions allow.<\/p>\n
