Thelma June Franks, 94 died in her husbands arms on October 3, 2018. She came from Missouri to Washington in 1938. Shortly after June met Ray, the love of her life, they were married in 1944.

Their retirement meant days filled with bingo, slot machines, card games, bowling, trips to Arizona, fishing and most important time spent together.

June embraced life’s challenges bravely, and displayed tremendous strength and courage during her lifetime and during her illness. She showed her beautiful smile till the end.

She is survived by her loving husband (after being married for 74 years) Ray, son Robert (wife Phyllis), daughter Sandy (husband Steve), son Larry (wife Mary), son Brad and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. June’s legacy to all of us is the way she lived her life.

To know one is to know both. “Ray and June” (always said together) is the way it is meant to be and will be forever. Please sign her online guest book at marlattfuneralhome.com.
