Matt was born on February 15, 1961 in Renton. Matt graduated from Kent Ridge High School in 1979. After graduation Matt started working in his Dad&rsquo;s machine shop, where he took it over in 1994. Matt greatest passion was salmon fishing with his friend Randy. He also enjoyed cars and more recently crabbing.<\/p>\n<p>Matt is survived by his parents Ronald and Marion Vatne, sister; Corinne Vatne Pudwill, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and 2 great nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Michael Vatne, sister-in-law Val, and his grandparents.<\/p>\n<p>A memorial serv&#8203;ice is schedule&#8203;d&#8203; on June 22, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Panther Lake Community Church 10630 SE 240th St., Kent.
