The Kent Farmers Market runs 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays through Sept. 27 at the Town Square Plaza on the corner of Second Avenue and Smith Street. For more information, visit www.kentfarmersmarket.com.<\/p>\n
The Des Moines Waterfront Farmers Market runs 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays through Oct. 25 at the Des Moines Marina, located at South 277th and Dock Street. For more information, call 206-870-6527.<\/p>\n
Sierra Club celebrates<\/b><\/p>\n
The Sierra Club\u2019s South King County Group will celebrate its accomplishments today at its annual Summer Solstice Picnic and Nature Walk.<\/p>\n
The picnic potluck takes place 6:30-9 p.m. at Gary Grant Park on the corner of Southeast 208th Street and 137th Avenue Southeast in Kent. The event will include food and a walk with bird naturalist Mark Johnston along Soos Creek Trail.<\/p>\n
