1925-2008<\/p>\n

Eric Pearson Englund age 83, passed away in the early morning of December 31st 2008. Eric was born on September 26th in the year of 1925 to parents Olga and Eric Englund of Swedish and Finnish decent. Eric graduated from Lake Meridian High School and lived in the Kent\/Renton area his entire life. He attended the University of Washington where he studied architecture and was a member of Phi Kappa Psi. Eric married Lois Jean Buck on the 17th of March in the year 1950. Eric retired from the Post office in 1984 after thirty one years of civil service. Eric, like his father, was a brilliant woodworker\/carpenter and built much of the house that he lived in for most of his life. Eric also enjoyed playing golf and played regularly for many years after his retirement. Eric was preceded in death by son Ric and granddaughter Jennifer Brinkman. Eric is survived by his wife Lois, his son Jim and wife Yvette and daughter Lisa and husband Phil Cords, grandchildren Brian Brinkman and Erica Englund, as well as numerous other family, friends and neighbors.He spent the twilight of his years around his family in his home that he shared with his bride of fifty-eight years.Eric will be dearly missed by all of us, rest in peace Grandpa.<\/p>\n
