Herman Joseph Paulson<\/p>\n

Herman Joseph Paulson of Kent, passed away July 2, 2008 at the age of 90, in the presence of his wife and daughter. Born January 13, 1918, Herman was the second oldest of four boys born to Nels and Anne (Stoil) Paulson in Fertile, MN. The family moved to Vashon Island.He served in WWII. Stationed at Ft. Ord as part of the US Army 74th Field Artillery Battalion, horse calvary, at the start of the war, sent to the Alaskan Aleutian Islands, and was in Europe on VE day. Boeing employee 1947-1981.He is survived by his wife, Louise, married 54 years; their three children, Jim (Michelle), Jerry (Donna), & Jill (John Leghorn). Blessed with 6 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter. Of Herman\u2019s three brothers, he is preceded in death by Al and survived by Morrie (Enum-claw) and Kelly (Maple Valley), & all were Sons of Norway members.A service will be held on Friday, July 18, 12:30 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery, followed by a memorial at Kent Lutheran Church, 2:00 p.m., where he was a long time member. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Assoc., Children\u2019s Hosp., Kent Lutheran, or charity of your choice.
