Ralph Wright, Jr.<\/p>\n

Ralph Wright, Jr. was born on September 14, 1920 in Mobridge, South Dakota to Anna and Ralph and passed peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 in Seattle, Washington. He was preceded in death nine months by his wife, Marless. Ralph was a veteran of WWII and lived in Kent since 1956. He was a mechanic and retired from Rothschild Stevedoring, Seattle. Ralph was co-owner of the family business Wright\u2019s Mower Ser-vice, Kent for more than 30 years. He loved being around people and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Fixing things was his speciality and if he couldn\u2019t fix it, he would make it from scratch.Ralph will be missed by daughter, Anna Parrott (Craig) of Kent; sons, Jeffrey of Dayton, Jerry of Kent, and Joel of Burien; his two granddaughters, Allison Parrott of Seattle, and Lesley Parrott of Kent; and two sisters, Margaret Mehlhaff of Edmonds, Helen Wilkins (Bill) of Lynnwood; brother, Henry Wright (Betty Ann) of San Jose, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.A memorial was held on Friday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Kent. Remberences can be sent to Children\u2019s Hospital Foundation, PO Box 50020, Seattle, WA 98145, ear-marked to uncompensated care or cancer research fund or to Zion Lutheran Church, Kent, WA.<\/p>\n
