Guests will be treated to refreshments, music, sales and prize giveaways at the boutique at 406 W. Meeker in downtown Kent. Everyone who brings a friend will get a free latte, compliments of the boutique.<\/p>\n<p>After working in the property management and mortgage industries, Cheryl Wright opened the store late last year, fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning her own shop. In the midst of a recession, Wright felt it was a good time to offer local shoppers a place to purchase affordable merchandise for men, women and children, including clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories and more. In an unusual twist, the boutique also offers lattes, mochas and houseplants grown in the boutique\u2019s greenhouse.
