The Annual Spring Clean-Up Saturday in downtown Kent went off without a hitch \u2013 even the weather cooperated. Under sunny skies, a small army of about 40 volunteers spruced up the city\u2019s downtown business section, weeding, replanting and cleaning up debris.<\/p>\n

John Hinds, manager of Kent Station, was this year\u2019s organizer, through the Kent Downtown Partnership, which sponsored the event. He said he was excited about the number of teens who turned out to help this year.<\/p>\n
