{"id":19551,"date":"2008-06-26T18:31:40","date_gmt":"2008-06-27T01:31:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/drowning-victim-identified\/"},"modified":"2016-10-22T23:50:31","modified_gmt":"2016-10-23T06:50:31","slug":"drowning-victim-identified","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/drowning-victim-identified\/","title":{"rendered":"Drowning victim identified"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 14-year-old teen who drowned June 20 at Lake Meridian in Kent has been identified as Isaih Goodwin.<\/p>\n<p>The King County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office released the Kent youth\u2019s identity Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Goodwin had just finished his freshman year at Kentwood High School in Covington, according to the Kent School District.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. when Goodwin was swimming with friends in a marked swimming area at Lake Meridian Park. He began struggling and then went under.
