I would like to second the negative comments regarding the lingerie football venue at our new Showare Center.<\/p>\n
This is right up there with the bikini baristas. Each are just selling sex under the guise of entertainment and lattes. If you look at the people who partake in each of these, you will see mostly men who can\u2019t find better ways to spend their time and money and who get their kicks from seeing near naked women.<\/p>\n
Just look at the lines at the barista stands and you see pick-ups, company trucks, male city employees, etc, etc. Why do you think it is that these same people aren\u2019t lined up at the decent latte stands? Oh…that\u2019s right…no sex.<\/p>\n
Why is our city supporting these activities? Isn\u2019t Kent and the Showare Center supposed to represent a good clean family atmosphere? I\u2019m embarrassed that my tax dollars support this activity! I\u2019m embarrassed that when you drive down the streets of Kent you see larger-than-life windows at latte stands with near-naked females in them. What kind of message are we sending the children of our community? What kind of message are we giving to visitors? Why am \u201cI\u201d paying for this?<\/p>\n
Can\u2019t people sell coffee and play football with family-friendly clothing on? How sad that this is how they choose to make their money and make our community look foolish to the majority of decent folks.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
