{"id":1023,"date":"2009-10-02T13:09:40","date_gmt":"2009-10-02T20:09:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/free-student-immunization-clinic-is-oct-7\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T19:25:28","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T02:25:28","slug":"free-student-immunization-clinic-is-oct-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/free-student-immunization-clinic-is-oct-7\/","title":{"rendered":"Free student immunization clinic is Oct. 7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Kent School District is teaming with Public Health &#8211; Seattle King County to provide free immunizations for all students in the Kent School District.<\/p>\n<p>The clinic is made possible in part by a grant from Group Health Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Available immunizations include MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), IPV (polio), Hib (meningitis), Varicella (chicken pox), DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis), Td (tetanus, diphtheria), hepatitis B, and Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis).<\/p>\n<p>New requirements for the 2009-2010 school year include documentation of two doses of the Varicella vaccine and four does of DTaP for all students entering kindergarten or first grade. One dose of Varicella vaccine is required for grades two, three and six. Three does of the Hepatitis B vaccine is required for students entering kindergarten through 12th grades.
